Danish Red Their production range is in between that of Finish Ayrshire and Swedish Red breeds with actual cow numbers being much smaller. Noteworthy is the utilization of some totally unrelated breeds in their breeding program (many active sires, including some of the ir best , carry more than 1/8 of Holstein genes) , but also breeds like Bro wn Swiss appear a number of generations back.
